Country music the way people like it
By Samantha Silverstein
Country music comes with a certain image. A lot of feeling, a lot of storytelling, and often that “sit down, listen for a minute” kind of vibe. Whiskey, heartbreak, all of it.
That works. But in our digital world, it also means people are gone again after 30 seconds.
YEEHAW! is basically the opposite of that. The idea isn’t complicated: play country music, but in a way that actually keeps people in the room. Sounds easy. It isn’t.

What makes the difference is that it doesn’t try to be perfect. Behind the decks are DJ Maria and her DJ team, each bringing their own style. Sometimes it works better, sometimes less. That’s part of it. What matters is that the night evolves instead of just drifting along.
And then there’s Tika, unofficially something like the Door Bitch. Greeting people, throwing in comments, keeping the chat alive. Without her, the room would probably just… exist.
Musically, it sits somewhere between modern country, well-known tracks, and whatever works in the moment. There’s a concept, sure, but it’s flexible. If something connects, it stays. If it doesn’t, it’s gone.

The interesting part doesn’t happen in the playlist anyway. It happens in between. When someone suddenly writes “that’s my song!” When people start singing along. When a small group somehow feels bigger than it is because there’s actual energy in the room.
Sometimes it’s just a handful of people. Sometimes a few more. But the goal is always the same: no background noise. No polite listening. Just the chance for a real night.
YEEHAW! isn’t a traditional country room, and it’s definitely not a perfect club. It’s something in between. A space that takes a genre that can be a little too polite sometimes and gives it just enough edge to turn it into a party.
YEEHAW! is open every second Monday starting at 7 PM CET.
With Special Thanks to Maria
