Stella Arcadia
by Luna Scarlett
Luna’s Stella Arcadia is an impressive new entry in the series of concept rooms we’ve covered in the gazette. The rocks floating in outer space nearby an iridescent moon evoke a fairy tale atmosphere inviting dreamy contemplation. The room has an organic feel to it that reflects the incremental way in which it was built.
I wanted to build something that felt out of time. I’ve always had a fascination for antiquity, magic, alchemy and ancient mysteries.

Music plays an important role to set the right atmosphere of any room. An angelic playlist with a lot of Dead Can Dance tracks makes the perfect complement to this build. The mellow sounds invite you to float away among the stars like the very rocks this world is made of.
A feature not yet seen in any other room we covered is that this build contains both a daytime and a nighttime area. Any builder will know that this is not directly supported by the game so it poses an interesting technical challenge that Luna overcame with aplomb.
The sculpture that can be seen in the background was done by Phoebus and is called The Tree of Life. The witch’s silhouette in the smaller moon was also a gift from him.
With special thanks to Luna Scarlett and Lory Grau.
