Damn what’s right, let’s lose control
Burn the night, set fire in the hole
Rock n’ roll is in our soul
On Friday, July 26, 2024, the Umbrella Amphitheatre hosted the debut concert of the 3DX band Nine Inch Heels.
The band was founded in early 2024 by Chloe and Felicia Black, and this was the first time they’d ever performed in public for such a large audience. Concert goers were treated to over 2 hours of rock, heavy metal, German hard rock and punk music, with a sprinkling of reggae and blues tunes mixed in.
All the music was original – written and created by Chloe and Felicia. The songs included such crowd-pleasers as Big Hard Rock, Zu Spät, Do You Wanna To Pet My Kitty? and Row Zero. In addition to the two co-founders, the event’s band included Aspect (guitar), Patrick (bass), Maltone (drums) and Lucy (keyboards).
DJ’s Keaira and Dirty Jane warmed up the crowd before NIH took the stage, and DJ Nelio helped close out the event. It was a fantastic evening of music and partying!
I can’t even remember how it all started? I never expected we’d be making our own music instead of streaming other artists. I remember Chloe asked me to perhaps help with some English lyrics for songs … and soon she led me down the endless music rabbit hole. Next thing I know, I’m learning new software and downloading stuff to make music.
