ChatLauncher 2.0.0-beta.4
Additions
- Added a new setting “Default Startup Page” which allows you to change the page the launcher opens on startup.
- You can choose between the regular Home, Launcher Presets, 3DXChat Settings, 3DXChat News, Community News and Settings. The default remains Home.
- If any of the chosen pages are unavailable (like you disabled the news feeds) it will automatically fallback to Home.
- Added a new setting “Screenshare Blocking” which allows you to block screenshots and videos being taken from the app. (Not from 3DX!)
- This is off by default but you can enable it if your paranoia is as high as mine.
- Yes, this will also block the Windows Recall AI feature from seeing it.
- Added a new setting “Server Status Notifications” which allows you to get notified when the 3DXChat servers go offline or come back online.
- This is off by default but you can enable it if you want.
- You will only get notified once per status change, so you won’t get spammed.
- Added a new setting “Exception Telemetry” which allows you to send anonymous crash and error reports to help improve the launcher.
- This is off by default but you can enable it if you want to help.
- No personal data is being sent, only the exception details and basic system information.
- Added 3DX Chat Maintenance Notifications. The feature which was always announced since day 1 but never integrated.
- Whenever 3DX announces a maintenance, you’ll now get notified in the launcher by a shiny new button.
- Clicking on this button will open a dialog with all relevant information about the maintenance(s).
- This feature is on by default but you can disable it if you want.
- This feature is subject to be improved over time. We’re using an LLM (“AI”) for that so it’s not 100% guaranteed that the timestamps are correct.
- Integrated an updater to the app. It’s finally easy enough to update when a new version is released!
- The installer has been updated to respond to parameters now.
- This is mainly useful for advanced users or the new updater.
- Run /help or /h to see all available parameters.

- Adjusted the in-game settings page to the new settings from 3DXChat version 3.3.

- Presets are divided into the base game and the beta version.
- Currently you can set the world builder colors through presets. If more settings are requested they will be added if possible..
- The design of the preset page is still a little work in progress, but it is functional. Future versions will improve it further.

Fixes
- 3DX Server Status now shows the correct icon when the Overall Status is offline.
- 3DXChat’s 3.2 new ‘Chat History’ is now preserved instead of cleared when you clear the cache – sorry for that. It still is being cleared when you uninstall the game.
- The launch button of the beta version will now be shown greyed out again after the install has been cancelled.
- Update notifications of the games work again.
