Few builders have left as distinct a mark as Phoebus. Known for blending architectural ambition with deeply personal artistic expression, he now unveils his latest project: Celestia Galaria, a space that feels both intimate and monumental, grounded in inspiration yet boldly original.
This new gallery arrives over a year after the opening of the Shane and Phoebus Gallery, marking not just a continuation, but a reinvention. Drawing inspiration from the iconic design of the Louvre Abu Dhabi by architect Jean Nouvel, Celestia Galaria is built upon water and crowned by a vast, open dome that invites light and imagination to pour in.
But rather than echoing the grand, uninterrupted halls of its real-world muse, Phoebus takes a more exploratory approach. Inside, visitors discover a constellation of smaller rooms, each offering a unique atmosphere and curated experience. The layout encourages wandering, an intentional design choice that mirrors the freedom of artistic discovery itself.
At the heart of Celestia Galaria is its vibrant collection. Phoebus showcases his own paintings throughout the space, works created entirely by hand, without digital shortcuts. His style leans toward expressive portraiture and couples, often infused with bold, pop-art sensibilities. The result is a gallery alive with color, emotion, and personality.
The exhibition is further enriched by collaborations and contributions from others in the community. Visitors can admire drawings by Kalli Carissima and sculptures crafted by Phoebus’ friends, adding texture and diversity to the collection.
Completing the atmosphere is music by Eloisa Moon whose work brings a gentle, emotional soundscape to the gallery. Her presence ties the visual and auditory elements together, transforming Celestia Galaria into a fully sensory experience.
With this fourth gallery, Phoebus demonstrates not only technical mastery, but a clear artistic vision: to create spaces where community, creativity, and exploration intersect. Celestia Galaria is more than a gallery, it’s a journey, one that invites every visitor to slow down, wander, and feel.
