A New Bohemian Room Opens in 3DX

On September 10, Bettsi will open the doors to a new room, a space inspired by the bohemian lounges of old New York and created for music, conversation, art and the happy collision of unusual minds.

The room was designed and built by AubreyRose, who has transformed this historic inspiration into a richly atmospheric virtual setting.

Its spirit reaches back to Greenwich Village, where artists, poets, musicians and assorted night owls once gathered in smoky cafés, intimate cabarets and basement clubs. From the bohemian circles of the early twentieth century to the jazz rooms and Beat coffeehouses of later decades, these places were more than venues. They were informal salons: refuges where ideas could be tested, performances could begin without ceremony and strangers might leave as collaborators.

In keeping with that spontaneous tradition, opening night will feature a live performance by a surprise artist. The name remains under wraps; the experience is reserved for those who enter the room.

Bettsi and AubreyRose have revived something of New York’s bohemian spirit, not as a museum piece, but as a living virtual meeting place with its own character and stories still to be written.

The first chapter begins on September 10. Come curious, stay late and bring something to add to the atmosphere, even if it is only your company.
