For those that have been on 3DX for a while, the name Necro will certainly ring a bell. Many will remember his creations such as Old Town, Oasis and Verdant Realms with fondness. This builder likes to encourage discovery and there are lots of neat touches if you walk around and explore thoroughly. The room is currently being hosted by the lovely EllieNash and is open 24/7.

City by the Sea was built between 2022 and 2023 with about 200-250 hours of work. An older build from 2021 called Abyss was attached to it upon completion. Monopoly hosted the music for Abyss and created the room promo art. There is still a billboard with her old radio on it, krieg.host. City’s current file size is 4.63MB.

Tampere, Finland was the room’s inspiration, particularly the Grand Hotel, Half Moon Games, the seaside walk, and the mall. There’s a single apartment with a Finnish flag in one area too.

By far one of the best builds I have seen in recent months is the room City by the Sea hosted by Ellie Nash and built by the builder Necro.
