2024 In Review

Another year has passed, a special one because it saw the birth of The Hidden Circle Gazette. Originally conceived as a simple blog for a 3DX night club, the website morphed into the publication we know today.

From the very start the gazette’s mission has been to put the spotlight on the creative people that make up our community. To give them a forum to show their creations, whether they be in game builds, writings, music or any other form of art.

Over the course of the year we’ve seen contributions from several people. It is their hard work that has helped make the website what it is. So our special thanks go out to all the artistic souls that put pen to paper to write articles for us to enjoy: Anni, Bellatrixie, Bettsi, Felicia, Jaqui, NiteHawk, Sebina and Vibrent.

We also want to thank all the people that have had the courage to show their work to us and have it published as a build or a venue. There are so many talented builders in our community whose work rarely gets seen. In addition our thanks to the people that so graciously offered their time for in depth interviews: Chloe, Jan Lou, Keely and Sahyuri.

On a more personal level 2024 was also the year I met and married Eskarina. From the very start she embraced this project and contributed countless articles of her own. Her enthusiasm was responsible for growing our discord server to an incredible high of 112 members. I cannot imagine running the gazette without her.

So what’s in store for 2025? We hope to continue offering a creative outlet for anyone wanting to contribute or showcase their work. In addition we will on occasion open our room in game so people can come meet us. To this end Eskarina has built a beautiful location that marries the gazette office building to a cozy pub and café. We’re excited to show it to you!
